Case study / Marketing dashboard

A custom-built dashboard that puts the whole business on one screen.

A local business had its marketing spread across a dozen tools. We brought website traffic, social media, newsletter sign-ups, sales, reviews, marketing campaigns, bookings and events into a single live dashboard that updates itself, and reads just as well on a phone behind the counter as on a desktop.

Not another reporting tool to log into and decode. A custom-built marketing command centre: social, campaigns, newsletter and sales pulled together and kept up to date automatically, in plain language, ready the moment they open it.

01The challenge

The numbers lived in five different places. Newsletter sign-ups in one tab, sales in another, social scattered across platforms, website traffic somewhere else, and no simple way to track campaigns, events or bookings. Answering something as basic as "has this week been better than last?" meant opening half a dozen tabs and spending twenty minutes piecing it together. Most of the time, nobody bothered.

02What we built

One live dashboard with a tab for each part of the marketing. The data collection is automated end to end: social media, campaigns, newsletter, sales and reviews flow in and update themselves, with no manual exports or spreadsheets. Everything reads in plain language, and it works as well on a phone behind the counter as it does on a desktop. The owner opens it with a morning coffee and, within seconds, knows exactly how the marketing is performing and where attention is needed. What is driving visitors, which campaigns are working, whether the newsletter list is growing: the answers to the questions that matter are all there in seconds, instead of an afternoon of hunting.

03A tab for each part of the business

Each tab answers one clear question, and the Overview sums the whole picture into a line. What each one shows is set out below.

  • Overview the whole week at a glance, this week versus last, and where to look
  • Website traffic visitors, sources and top pages, against the trend
  • Social media every platform in one view, reach and engagement side by side
  • Newsletter sign-ups over time and which sources bring the best subscribers
  • Sales revenue, orders and best sellers, week on week
  • Reviews new reviews, rating and sentiment, so reputation is never a surprise
  • Campaigns every campaign and the traffic, sign-ups and sales it actually drove
  • Bookings & events what is coming up, how full it is, and what it is worth

04How it works

The marketing runs on automation underneath. Social scheduling, campaign tracking and newsletter data all feed the same live view, so reporting stops being a weekly chore and simply happens. It pulls from the tools the business already uses, keeps itself up to date automatically, and presents everything in a way that makes decisions easier. An Overview tab rolls it all into a plain-English summary of the week, and new integrations are added over time as the business grows. No chatbot, no hype, just AI and automation used where they genuinely help.

Anywhere

Works on a phone

Built mobile-first, so it reads as well by the till as it does on a desktop.

The useful bit

No gimmick. No chatbot trying to impress people. No AI for the sake of saying you use AI. Just technology quietly connecting the systems a business already relies on and bringing everything into one place.

The technology isn't the point. The point is giving the owner one place to understand what's happening across the business: less time switching between systems, less time building reports, and more time making decisions.

We're not selling AI. We're selling clarity.

The outcome

Better visibility. Better decisions. More time.

Every dashboard is different because every business is different, but the outcome is always the same. Less time gathering information, more time acting on it.

~5 hours

saved every week. No more Sunday reporting.

1 dashboard

one place to understand the whole business.

0 spreadsheets

no exports, no switching between platforms.

Better calls

decisions made on evidence, because you can finally see what is happening.

Common questions
What is a custom-built dashboard?

A single live view built around the exact numbers your business cares about, pulling from the tools you already use and updating itself, so you see how the business is doing at a glance.

How is it different from Google Analytics or my email tool?

Those each show one slice. This brings website traffic, newsletter sign-ups, sales, reviews, campaigns and bookings into one place, in plain language, with an overview tab that sums up how the week is going.

Can it track our marketing campaigns?

Yes. Every campaign is tracked with UTM tags, so you can see the traffic, sign-ups and sales each one actually drove, not just that something happened.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It is built mobile-first, so it reads just as well on a phone behind the counter as it does on a desktop.

Can you connect our existing tools?

Yes. We connect the systems you already use, and new integrations are added over time as your needs grow.

Is your business spread across too many systems?

Most businesses don't have a data problem, they have a visibility problem. The information already exists, it's just scattered across too many places. We connect it, simplify it and present it in one clear view, so instead of searching for answers you spend your time making decisions.
